Our Sturgeon Fishing Charters run year-round on the calm waters of the Fraser River.

Spring and Fall are times when sturgeon try and gorge themselves on the abundance of food sources in the river, this can be your best time for catching multiple fish in a day or at the same time, lots of fish are eating. Summer is great for searching for larger sturgeon looking for a meal.

Winter time is usually when the sturgeon go into lazy mode, much like us, generally fishing is slower, as expected with low water temps.

In all honesty, the very best time to go, is when you can make time.

No.  White Sturgeon fishing has been strictly a catch & release industry for 20+ years now.

Typically we can only fish Salmon in the Fall months (Sept, Oct, Nov) when openings allow. Fraser River is the main artery for all the salmon returning to spawn, we typically target these fish at the river mouths where they will still be bright silver and aggressive.

Nope, even if you’ve never been fishing before we’ll take care of you. Our friendly Fraser River sturgeon fishing guides are happy to get you introduced to all aspects of fishing and make sure you have a comfortable and memorable day on the water.

Guided fishing aboard a private jetboat with a professional and experienced guide. We don’t do shared trips, so it will just be you and your group onboard. All fishing gear is included, as is bait, fuel, etc., there are no hidden costs. 

Not included are fishing licenses, taxes and guide gratuities at your discretion.

We fish from downstream of Chilliwack to upstream of  Hope, a massive expanse of river that is home to the best sturgeon fishing found anywhere in the world!  The Fraser is the biggest river in British Columbia and drains a huge area, pretty much everything south of the Rocky Mountains. The Fraser enters the ocean right at Vancouver, if you’re flying into the Vancouver International Airport, it's located on the Fraser River delta. The trip closest to Vancouver is in Chilliwack, that’s about 90 minutes east of Vancouver. The other BC sturgeon trips we offer are the more remote trips, those leave from either Agassiz, BC or Hope, BC, just a bit further of a drive, but well worth it!
